**Job Overview**:- Mechanical engineer optimize the performance of mechanical products, machinery, and equipment. assisting Maintenance superintendent to design mechanical products, analyze performance results, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.**ACTIVITIES**:**Role****Responsibility**- Mechanical design- Assisting Maintenance superintendent with mechanical design and maintenance tasks.- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.- Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.- Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.- Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.- Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.- Training technicians and production associates on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.- Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.- Continuous Improvement- Develop and optimize maintenance execution, reliability, and work processes- Perform and implement Lean Manufacturing methodology throughout area of responsibility- Support safety, quality, cost, and delivery improvement initiatives**REQUIREMENTS**:**Profile****Area****Requirement****Description**- Education- Bachelor's Degree- Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Industrial Engineering.- Hard Skills- Technical Skills- Molding Machines Maintenance, Hydraulics, Welding Shop Machinery, Machining, Technical Drawings & Hydraulics Drawings interpretation, Rubber & Plastic Processes knowledge, Chemical Compatibility, Lean Manufacturing Principles & Technics- Software Skills- Solidworks, MS Office, CMMS Software, AutoCAD- Problem Solving- 8D, 5whys, DOE, DMAIC- Budgeting- Must have knowledge of maintenance budgeting and methodologies- Project Management- Ability to Manage Capital expense projects- Soft Skills- Communication Skills- Ability to communicate both verbally and written with colleagues at a various levels of the organization- English Language Conversational Level- Leadership- Must be able to identify needs for improvement and implement change- Ability to develop and maintain relationships to enable the achievement of results over time- Attitude- High energy level and clear customer focus emphasis- Experience- Environment- Minimum of 5 years in a rubber or plastics manufacturing environment with maintenance, and/or Engineering roles is desired- People Management- Experience in Managing teams of 3 to 5 people
