This role combines professional health education expertise with hands-on resident assistance to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.This unique dual-responsibility role integrates health education and resident support,focusing on enhancing the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our community members. This position is eligible for TN visa sponsorship, with no **VisaScreen** required.- **Key Responsibilities**_**Develop and Implement Wellness Programs**:- Create and lead health education initiatives, including nutrition, exercise, and preventive care programs tailored to residents’ individual needs.- Organize group activities such as therapeutic exercises, cognitive games, and relaxation sessions to foster active and healthy lifestyles.**Resident Daily Assistance and Support**:- Assist residents with daily routines related to personal health and wellness, such as making balanced dietary choices, engaging in light physical activities, and maintaining personal well-being.- Help residents with basic daily tasks, such as mobility support, reminders for hydration and medication, and guidance on personal care routines, while fostering independence and dignity.**Health Monitoring and Reporting**:- Monitor residents' health and wellness progress, making adjustments to wellness plans as needed to address their evolving needs.- Maintain accurate documentation of each resident’s wellness activities, progress, and any areas of concern. Communicate updates with the caregiving team and management to ensure consistent, high-quality care.**Team Collaboration and Training**:- Educate staff members on best practices for supporting residents' wellness needs, sharing insights on nutrition, preventive care, and daily wellness routines.- Work closely with other team members to ensure residents receive holistic support, blending professional health education with hands-on daily assistance.**Foster a Safe and Positive Environment**:- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment that enhances residents’ quality of life, with attention to maintaining both physical and emotional well-being.- Engage residents regularly, encouraging participation in wellness activities that support mental engagement, social connection, and emotional resilience.- **Qualifications**_**Education**:- Bachelor’s or "Licenciatura" in one of the following TN-eligible fields that **do not require VisaScreen**:- Dietitian: Focus on developing individualized nutrition plans, offering dietary guidance, and educating residents and staff on nutritional health.- Health Educator: Specialize in preventive care, wellness promotion, and health counseling to help residents maintain their overall health.- Recreational Therapist: Design and facilitate therapeutic activities, such as group exercises and cognitive games, to improve residents’ physical and mental well-being.- Non-Clinical Social Worker: Provide mental and emotional support through counseling, coordination of resources, and interactions that foster a positive outlook.**Experience**:- Previous experience in health education, wellness programs, or working with elderly or special-needs populations is preferred.**Skills**:- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage with residents and collaborate with the team effectively.- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.**Personal Traits**:- Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing thoughtful, resident-centered support.**What We Offer**- Competitive salary and benefits, including housing support if needed.- Professional development and training in a supportive environment that values resident well-being.- A collaborative, team-oriented workplace dedicated to improving residents' health and wellness.**How to Apply**Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoTipo de jornada:- Turno de 12 horasLugar de trabajo: On the road
