You’ll learn how to use industry standard booking systems (Global Distribution Systems), resolve customer inquiries for all types of travel via phone, and much more.If you have experience in call/contact centers, customer service or hospitality, and have always wanted to work in travel, you may be perfect for this position.Our Travel Academy is an 8-week-long paid training program. We’ll give you a comprehensive course in all things travel and prepare you with everything you need to be successful as a full-time Travel Counselor assisting our client through phone.**What We’re Looking For**:3+ years of experience in customer service, contact centers or hospitalityFull proficiency in English language with exceptional listening, speaking, reading and writingHighly proficient in computer skills including basic trouble shooting and confident in navigating new software platformsResolving customer issues quickly and raising concerns when neededPassionate about world-class customer service (empathetic, calm, and courteous)Must have a quiet, secure home office space, free from noise and interruptionMust have reliable high speed internet service at your address**What You’ll Do**:Participate in our Travel Academy (training) newly designed travel curriculum, where you’ll learn everything you need to know about corporate travel and our industryLearn about our products and services GBT provides, including our end-to-end booking processExperience our hands-on practice environmentAdvise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirementsUse positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requestsCollaborate within your team to coach and provide constructive feedback to improve service levelsAt the end of the paid training program, we’ll help you transition to your full-time role as an Associate Travel CounselorOur Traveler Care unit is a 24/7 operation, so we’re looking for people who are excited about working some non-traditional hours.
