We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Financial Accounting Assistant**The main objective of the position is to prepare the accounting closing process of Grupo Financiero HSBC entities on a monthly basis to allow the generation of financial information for local Regulators and Group. It is preferred to have technical knowledge of local and international accounting. Good analytical capacity. Preferable knowledge of the accounting process of a bank. Good communication skills (including english) to allow working with many teams (including teams in India).**Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities**Prepare the accounting closing process of Grupo Financiero HSBC entities on a monthly basis to allow the generation of financial information for local Regulators and Group working with India team including review of accounting journals. Support with intercompany billing process, Nostro accounts breaks reconciliation, monthly certification/substantiation of balances and local regulatory reporting delivery to regulators. Review variance analysis provided on reported figures with team in India. Supporting external and internal audit requirements and regulators requests including yearly audits.**Requirements**:**Requirements**:Knowledge of accounting standards applicable in Group and Mexico.Working experience, at least 3+ yearsEnglish (intermediate/advanced).Graduate in Economics/Accounting or similar.Advanced Excel.Knowledge in PeopleSoft, GL, or any other accounting system.You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
