Join us in shaping the next era of sustainable food practices and be part of building the Mexican Unicorn**The Role**:As the Head of Strategy and Business Development, you will wield strategic influence, guiding our expansion, revenue growth, and financial and operational excellence initiatives. As well as actively participate in the entire company's digital and business process transformations. This role demands a visionary leader capable of combining entrepreneurial spirit with multi-vertical consulting expertise. Reporting directly to the C-suite, you'll spearhead pivotal projects, chart new ventures, and orchestrate geographical expansions while collaborating closely with various operational verticals.**Responsibilities**- Lead end-to-end strategic projects to bolster revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.- Identify and evaluate business opportunities across industries, formulating go-to-market strategies.- Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analyses, and feasibility studies for strategic initiatives.- Manage and jumpstart new ventures and expansions until handover to operational teams, with P&L responsibility.- Develop detailed project plans with timelines, resource allocation, and KPIs.- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project success, making adjustments for desired outcomes.- Spearheaded process assessments for operational enhancements and efficiency improvements.- Implement consulting-like projects, streamlining processes, reducing costs, and boosting productivity.- Implement systems and automation for improved company-wide operations.- Cultivate and manage relationships with key partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.- Analyze market trends, anticipate consumer behavior, and stay ahead of the competition.- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams, driving strategy execution.- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders, management, investors, and clients.- Identify and execute optimization and process enhancement projects.**Requirements**:**Basic Requirements**:- Master's Degree (MBA preferred), with emphasis on academic excellence (top GPA), Top Business School preferred.- 5+ years in strategic business development, consulting, startup or related fields (experience in F&B industry a plus).- Proven ability to develop and implement innovative business strategies that drive growth.- Exceptional leadership capable of making things happen, even through dotted lines of authority.- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.- Strong process orientation, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work independently and in teams.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).- Advanced Excel, Analytics, and project management tool proficiency.- Proven track record of high achievement in academia or professional endeavors.**Desired Skills and Experience**:- Experience in managing complex projects, conducting market research, and executing strategic initiatives.- Skilled in digital transformation and business process implementation.- Experience in fundraising, investor relationships, and business valuations & due diligence processes.- Deep understanding of consulting methodologies, process improvement frameworks, and operational efficiency best practices.- Knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau, or PowerBI is a plus.**Benefits****Birdman Highlights**:- An inclusive and collaborative environment where all ideas are welcome, iteration is encouraged, and the best ideas are adopted.- Competitive compensation + variable incentives.- Generous time off to take time away from work and recharge.
