About the role:The Platform Management, Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and alignment of platform delivery within Takeda's portfolio. This role ensures that platform services are developed in line with customer requirements and strategic vision, contributing to the organization's technical infrastructure.How you will contribute:- Direct the effort of staff engineers/developers in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of platforms and their components- Authorize and oversee platform design, plan projects, establish priorities, and monitor progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion- Direct the development and configuration of platforms from conceptualization through stabilization- Oversee testing, debugging, and documentation of platforms- Plan and manage activities associated with the implementation and maintenance of platforms- Provide support to production support service requests and perform routine maintenance and support activities- Work with IT Architects to define business solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategies and prioritiesSkills and qualifications:- Analyzes and understands customer requirements to guide platform services development.- Leads the planning and management of platform changes, ensuring mínimal disruption and alignment with overall business objectives.- Familiar with GDT platform, service, integration, and architecture standards, including data, API, and cloud configurations.- Enhances team collaboration and effectively manages cross-functional project teams.- Develops and implements customer strategies and roadmaps, aligning platform developments with customer expectations.- Keeps abreast of platform trends to drive innovation and strategic advantage.- Executes complex systems engineering tasks independently, providing guidance and leadership in systems integration and lifecycle management.- Advanced proficiency in Java, capable of handling complex programming challenges and mentoring others in Java development.- Applies knowledge of IT architecture standards to ensure platforms are built to company and industry best practices.- Leads and coaches teams in the development and implementation of platform services.As an experienced professional, you specialize in solving various complex problems, sometimes referring to established precedents and policies. Your work involves analyzing diverse data and selecting appropriate methods for solutions, while networking with senior professionals in your field. You possess a complete understanding of principles, concepts, and industry practices, exerting some influence on organizational objectives. You often work independently under general direction, occasionally leading small project teams, and may represent the organization in contractual or project matters, interacting with senior internal and external personnel.
