Citrix Platform Senior Engineer

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE_- _- (3-4 bullets)_- Project implementation and delivery, support, platform improvements- Experience of interpreting issues, recommending actions and following through changes across teams.- Align with portfolio teams to look at and build new competencies and service delivery readiness in line with offering development- Mentor and guide system engineers through the analysis, design, and implementation of complex engineering solutions.- A_CCOUNTABILITIES_ _- Sound knowledge of User Access Layer and Gateway Services, AWS and Azure- Two factor authentication solutions, core Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policies, Citrix Policies, Workspace Environment Manager and Citrix control planes- Stay abreast of related technology and recommend future system enhancements, improving troubleshooting and reducing the manual tasks- Citrix Virtual Application Delivery Administration and Management on an enterprise level- Experience in managing global enterprise Citrix Environments- Provide systems deployment, configuration, installation and support of equipment in Microsoft Windows environment to the specification of client proposals- Understanding and troubleshooting Windows server related issues, storage, virtualization platform and networking- Analyzing, monitoring, and maintaining data and implement changes, as required, to achieve optimum performance- Making and implementing recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or expand service levels- DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS_Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise- Domain experience on service enablement is a plus (various; preferred)- Confident and skilled at identifying and navigating through roadblocks.- Experience in Agile development.Leadership- Facilitates a culture that is open for innovation and automation and removes barriers to an effective automation culture- Ability to influence and build consensus amongst peers and less experienced analystsDecision-making and Autonomy- Assertive, with the confidence to be a voice of authority and able to influence stakeholders.- Ability to foster a learning and growth mindset within teams- Ability to promote innovative thinking and self-development.Interaction- Help other teams and conventional parts of the organization build effective communication and interaction with the team.- Coordinate interaction with other teams of one's own and other units.Complexity- Contribute to product development to the extent of her or his competence- EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES_,_ AND SKILLS_:_***- Bachelor of Science from an accredited university in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or equivalent field of study a plus.- 7+ years of Citrix and/or IT operational experience, including with relevant Microsoft technologies.- Knowledge of TCP/IP and interoperability with various network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.- Knowledge of MS Windows, Linux, and VMware operating systems.- Knowledge of information security techniques to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.- Knowledge of Cisco UCS servers and Tintri storage- Working knowledge of network tools, such as Wireshark, etc.- Good analytical and problem solving skills.- Ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both technical and non-technical roles.- Work with virtual/agile teams in different locations, aligning and adapting different work, culture, and communication styles.- Experience with software validation/lifecycle in a regulated environment is a plus- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work.- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers.- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION_ _- Travel Requirements - Ability to fly to meetings regionally and globally.**Locations**:MEX - Santa Fe**Worker Type**:Employee**Worker Sub-Type**:Regular**Time Type**:Full time
