**The Role**The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all product is delivered per client’s guidelines while operating within Client processes and procedures. They will assist with the movement and tracking of client orders as they move through the delivery cycle - from pre-planning to project wrap-up. The Logistics, Coordinator position will also create, update, and document processes and procedures as needed.**Requirements**:- Associate degree or its equivalent.- 5 + years of experience in the field or in a related area.- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within SCM operation.- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.- Performs a variety of tasks.- May lead or direct the work of others.- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.- Reports to Project Manager.- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills**Responsibilities**- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.- Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.- Receives products and coordinates delivery.- Prepares loads for shipment.- Takes steps to avoid quality control issues.- Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels.- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.- Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles.- Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible- Streamlines shipping and transportation processes**Other activities**:- Verify, review, and reconcile documents and reports about inventory.- Complete and verify paperwork and documentation.- Prepare accurate reports for upper management- Project Analysis.- Perform cost review of freights.- Backup for OMS activities.- Help with WBR warehouse.
