Swat - Root Cause Engineer for Production Execution

Support warranty, dealerships, and production as needed- Support and validated in-plant testing equipment- Train and aid new team members with root causing vehicles- Lead electrical root cause and determination of issues during all pilot phases- Lead early electrical work and prototype builds and root cause work- Experience in problem solving Strong technical research and writing skills Ability to work in a multicultural environment- Experience with mechanical and/or electrical vehicle integration- Ability to work with and lead cross functional teams- Ability to lead colleagues from engineering, planning, manufacturing and suppliers to achieve goals- Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions- Experience with electrical modules/component manufacturing test and vehicle configuration (EOL).- Basic level knowledge of power train and breaking functional manufacturing test (ROLLs).- Basic level knowledge of ADAS and Autonomous Driving functionalities- Working level experience in decomposing intended function into requirements inclusive of many of the following:- Automotive EE Architecture Topologies, Authoring Functional/Technical Objectives, Scenario/scene documentation, System behavior definition, Interface development &Failure analysis- Ability to use industry standard tools to communicate function logic, state machines, logic flow and other system diagrams- Working experience in creation and execution of validation plans inclusive of the following:- Current and Future Vehicle Assessment Specifications, Testing Protocols and Tools/Equipment- Current and Future ADAS Feature Specifications, Interactions and Integration Testing- Defining Test Equipment needs and training staff on the utilization of Tools/Equipment- Working level knowledge of Vehicle Bus (e.g. CAN/Ethernet) tools for data collection and analysis- Experience with defining vehicle communication architectures- Experience in generating statement of work/scope documentation or responding to request for quotes- Experience with automotive data recorder systems- Support EE Q team to drive issues to resolution- Critical character traits to ensure success:- Ability to think outside-the-box in high pressure situations- Ability to multi-task- Detail oriented problem-solver- Provide launch support on Current and Future programs.- Prepare and provide Technical reports of the activities carried out or whenever requested by the manager.Our benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
