Industrial Engineer Sr. Staff

TasksTHE POSITIONImplement sound Industrial Engineering tools and procedures, control the system for optimum efficiency of the manufacturing processes. Produce cost studies and estimates to verify recommendations in layout patterns, equipment, design and method changes. Coordinate with Controller, Production Management, and Supervision to prepare cost reduction programs and projects to reduce manufacturing costs.1. Assists production with the resolution of production/productivity problems and equipment selection.2. Work with all Plant Manufacturing, Engineering, Controlling, and Technical departments to design and implement projects to reduce costs, install new processes or new systems. Assist Human Resources and plant management in determining procedure for adoption with mínimal interruption.3. Perform floor Time and Methods study using existing systems and new systems.4. Observe and analyze Floor operations to determine weaknesses and strengths for improvement opportunities.5. Prepare and assist in the preparation of Capital Requests for the Plant.6. Coordinate with Industrial Engineering Manager for the enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures and policies.7. Perform Special Projects for Plant Management and other duties as directed by the Industrial Engineering Manager.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.- 5 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain operations, preferably in a semiconductor-related industry.- Excellent communication skills in English (the interview will be in English).- Experience in project management with cross-functional teams, preferably in the context of factory operations.- Solid knowledge of Principles and practices within productive Areas desirable- Problem solving experience (Green Belt desirable)- Warehouse & material flow experience desirable**Tech.
