TripleTen is a remote‑first organization that empowers individuals to master tech professions through bootcamps in software engineering, data science, business intelligence, cybersecurity, and QA engineering. Our mission is to ensure every student can master a new profession, find purpose, and become a valuable member of the tech industry. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong, supportive, long‑lasting relationships with students. Onboard students into bootcamps, guiding them through structure, tools, and resources to help them succeedli> Coach students on time‑management and online learning strategies, offering guidance when they feel stuck or overwhelmed. Collect student feedback and share insights with internal teams to contribute to product improvements. Handle administrative tasks such as registrations, breaks, and invitations. Host regular live Q&A sessions to unblock students and help them progress confidently. Provide personalized support through 1:1 video calls to answer questions and guide assignments. Respond to occasional student inquiries via direct messages. Lead live lessons on core program topics and industry‑relevant skills. Share professional insights and best practices to enrich the learning community. Review student projects and deliver clear, actionable feedback aligned with program standards. Support students in text (chat/discussion boards) by explaining concepts, troubleshooting code, and clarifying project or review questions. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, with hands‑on familiarity with Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Splunk, ELK, and virtualization tools such as VMware or Oracle VirtualBox. Experience with cloud security tools such as CrowdStrike, Cisco SecureX, and Prisma Cloud. Experience in incident response and crisis management in a business environment. Background in the U.S. tech market and exposure to cybersecurity standards (NIST, ISO, and other regulatory frameworks). Availability for full‑time collaboration (~40 hours per week). Passion for teaching, sharing knowledge, and staying current with evolving cybersecurity. Fluent English—strong spoken and written communication skills. Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus. Personal experience as an online student and desire to help create the best place to study cybersecurity. Benefits Fully remote role with monthly compensation of $2,300‑$3,000 (varies with experience). Free in‑house training to grow as an instructor, covering communication, soft skills, and student engagement. Opportunities to grow visibility as a public expert in cybersecurity. Cross‑cultural collaboration with passionate teammates. Schedule Full‑time Program Instructor: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM ET (1‑hour break). Part‑time Program Instructor: Friday–Tuesday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET. Shifts cover overall operating hours of 9:00 AM – 2:00 AM ET; schedules may change, with notice at least 2 weeks in advance. Time‑Zone Notice Eastern Time (ET) observes Daylight Saving Time; clocks shift forward 1 hour in March (EST → EDT) and back 1 hour in November (EDT → EST).
