The team
We, the Global Services (Delivery) team, have as our primary role the implementation of our solutions based on data protection, business continuity, and proactive and preventive management.
We are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining our solutions to ensure they operate flawlessly for our clients.
The role
- Administer and configure enterprise storage systems from Hitachi, Dell/EMC, and Huawei, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform data migration, capacity planning, and performance optimization across hybrid environments, including on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
- Manage and monitor Storage Area Networks (SAN), including configuring and maintaining SAN switches from Brocade and Cisco.
- Implement and manage zoning, masking, LUN provisioning, and multipathing within SAN environments.
- Integrate storage solutions with network infrastructures, configuring switches and routers from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, and Dell.
- Troubleshoot LAN and SAN connectivity issues and perform performance analysis to ensure seamless data flow and operational stability.
- Administer Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments, including configuring file systems like ext4, NTFS, NFS, and CIFS.
- Automate routine tasks through scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain adherence to best practices in network and storage protocols, including Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, and FCoE, to ensure data integrity and security.
- Stay up to date with relevant certifications, such as Hitachi Vantara, Dell/EMC Proven Professional, Huawei HCIA/HCIP, CCNA, or CCNP, to maintain expertise in enterprise storage and networking solutions.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years technical consultancy and Enterprise experience
- 5+ years technical IT related experience
- Active participation in the implementation life cycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Control).
- Detailed documentation of configurations and best practices for the support team.
- Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects and collaborate with other areas (infrastructure, networks, security, etc.).
- Troubleshooting skills under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with different teams.
- Proactivity in problem-solving and continuous infrastructure improvement.
