SummaryYou will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Director of Revenue provides revenue accounting leadership and business best practices to the hotel. The Director of Revenue has responsibility for all technical accounting aspects of hotel's revenue streams. This role will provide key leadership surrounding the hotel's revenue recognition policies and will regularly interface with the sales, operations and marketing organizations. The Director of Revenue is also responsible for royalty accounting and invoicing, and has two direct reports.**RESPONSIBILITES** (_Include but not limited to_)**;**Strategic Revenue Planning**:- _Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize overall hotel profitability._- _Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges._- _Collaborate with various departments to align revenue strategies with the hotel's overall business objectives._- **Pricing and Inventory Management**:- _Oversee pricing strategies, room inventory, and distribution channels to optimize revenue and market share._- _Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on market demand, competitor analysis, and historical data._- _Utilize industry-leading revenue management tools and systems to enhance decision-making processes with unparalleled precision and efficiency._- **Forecasting and Reporting**:- _Lead the preparation of accurate and insightful revenue forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management._- _Generate detailed reports and analysis on key performance indicators, market trends, and financial results._- _Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost control through data-driven insights._- **Team Leadership and Training**:- _Provide ongoing training and development to ensure the team stays abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends._- _Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the revenue management department._- **Collaboration and Communication**:- _Build strong relationships with external partners, including online travel agencies, to maximize distribution channels._- _Collaboratively engage with our corporate revenue team, contributing to insightful discussions and seeking guidance to drive strategic decisions._- _Continuous mentorship from the General Manager which establishes a structured platform for professional growth and development within our dynamic organization._**Qualifications**:Ideally with a university degree in Stretegic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management. An MBA would be an asset. Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of Revenue or Revenue Manager, as well as good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.- Comprehensive understanding of revenue management principles, tools, and industry best practices.- Proficiency in utilizing revenue management systems, showcasing strong analytical and strategic planning skills.- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, fostering effective collaboration and team dynamics.- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.- Must speak Spanish
