We do this by offering a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible can afford them.We are determined to bring a little bit of Sweden to Mexico.Job DescriptionI use the IKEA business priorities, knowledge of our range, online and offline consumer trends, my national market, competition and my customers’ living situations to drive and develop solutions now and in the future in my country and in all media. I support the search and social media team and functions to achieve comms excellence, sales growth and profitability. I contribute to the business development using my specialist knowledge. I support in all search engine marketing and social media production work in the country.- Support the ideation, production & implementation of SG social media deliverables, including: planning, creation (stills/images, videos, animation, html programming, etc.) and execution of content; co-ordination of social engagement activities and events including aligning of key messages, sourcing of images, influencer engagement, and any other objectives between social deliverables and other teams’ channels; “social media listening” on owned channels; together with CCC team.- Liaise with SO Sales, e-Commerce department, SO IKEA Food team, SO Corporate Comm, to review accuracy of all content and product list for search and social platforms.- Liaise with Web team to check that certain IRW pages are live/ready for communication on search and social.- Manage and liaise with respective agencies / vendors for content development and production, where needed.- Manage and liaise with media agencies for links (tracking link generation), publishing related matters, search optimisation, and relevant finance/admin matters.- Deliver campaign design adaptation for respective social channels (resizing etc).- Contribute and support the development of SEM and SEO optimisation while ensuring that the communication is in line with overall plans and the IKEA Concept.- Work closely with Marketing, SO sales and e-Commerce to secure or review product list to push out on SEM.- Update theme booklet Marketing file continuously when plans and visuals are confirmed and this includes any involvement with agencies, updating post mortem decks, updating teams on what worked and what didn’t, etc.Qualifications- Knowledge of photoshop / In-design / and other job-related software to facilitate simple video or animated content production.- Knowledge of social media platforms guidelines and understanding of media.- Knowledge of search engine marketing and optimisation, understanding of technicalities, and insights to online traffic generation.- Knowledge of trends, proven solutions, translating global into local market relevant/regional solutions that influence home furnishing and retailing.- Knowledge of customers' living situations as well as their needs and frustrations in their everyday life at home in order to translate that into strong messaging.- Knowledge of IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision, tone of voice.- Budgetary experience - evaluate, monitor, follow-up and adjust as needed.- Highly self-motivated with a passion for social media communication and SEM/SEO to drive results with consistent messaging.- Continually looking for ways to engage the audience through innovative social media content and good copy writing to drive visits through search.- Passionate about online media and home furnishing with strong curiosity about consumers, markets and trends.- Highly collaborative with a strong sense of ‘togetherness’ to achieve the goal.- Inspirational in how you communicate and engage others in your plans.Additional InformationThis position is based in **Mexico City** and offers a rare opportunity to be part of the establishment of IKEA in a whole new market.
