The Prod Ctrl Intmd. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.**Responsibilities**:- Solve issues under little to no supervision, including complex problems- Analyze situations and data utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies- Provide solutions for varied issues that potentially impact the broader business- Communicate information clearly and succinctly**Qualifications**:- 2-5 years of relevant experience- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication**Education**:- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThe Banking Controller Analyst is an important intermediate level position within the Controller organization responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records. The overall objective of this role is to product control all financial aspects for the business segment covered, including P&L explain, attribution, new activity analysis, support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation.**Core Responsibilities**:- Daily P&L production and reporting for desks within the Investment Banking loan segments.- Loan underwriting deal review, FAS91 calculation, journal entry instructions to Ops, journal entry posting responsibility, and validation of ledger balances.- Maintaining awareness of accounting and regulatory changes affecting P&L reporting- Coordination of Global P&L daily reporting.- Track and reconcile of Receivables and Payables in the context of IB fee life cycle.- Participate on business specific projects and research.- Assist in periodic balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation reviews.- Close and regular interaction with the above- mentioned stakeholder to resolve booking and control issues.**Key Attributes**- Exhibit intellectual curiosity to Investment Banking and product control areas.- Solve complex business issues independently and ask for the right help as needed.- Communicate information clearly and succinctly.
