Middleware Production Support Manager

Manage and support a safe, reliable, consistent and cost-competitive technology supporting Middleware Products for LatamProvide management, support, maintenance and performance & tuning the Middleware software in Latam and ensuring their availability, security and integrity.Work with the team to ensure that the associated Middleware products and to ensure availability and optimum performance.Responsible for documenting day-to-day support activity in the company Help Desk system and providing regular updates to management.Lead the projects assigned to integrate referential sources and feeds related to IT Asset Management solution.This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of Distributed servers experience, and in-depth knowledge of industry-standard technologies (e.g. Java/J2EE,Weblogic,.Net,, Websphere, Web, IIS) and Strong Management and leadership skill.General Roles and ResponsibilitiesBuild a high-performance production support team with the right talent mix to exceed client expectationsBe responsible for problem management including managing outages, resolution, co-ordination with stakeholders and communicationEnsure control processes are in place in alignment with Citi policiesProvide 24x7 on call problem resolutionSupport Engineering and Business projects.Review request for changes (Business and Functional requirements, etc).Troubleshoot to determine root cause of problems in Production environmentsImplement workarounds and temporary fixesPerform Application and Middleware logs analysisEnd-end Incident tracking and client follow-up, including postmortemEOL, EOS Track and fulfillmentParticipate on Technical Audit review (ARR)Support Engineering architecture definitionsProvide support to Capacity Planning and Performance Management teamsCoordinate Middleware Installations**Qualifications**:Requisite Knowledge/Capabilities- Strong Management and Leadership skill.- Strong knowledge on Middleware Solutions (e.g. Java/J2EE,Weblogic,.Net, Web Logic, MQ, Websphere, SUN One Web, IIS, Siteminder, LDAP, security).- Strong knowledge on UNIX, Wintel, Aix operating systems- Strong background on the Unix with scripting (ssh, Shell, perl) with various platforms (AIX, Linux, Solaris)General Attributes- Excellent interpersonal skills as team player and team leader- Strong communication and documentation skills in Spanish and English.- High level of personal and professional integrity.- Results orientation - commitment to follow initiatives through to completion.- Ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals- Ability to analyze complex information and evaluate options.- Ability to negotiate and work under pressure- Ability to manage risk appropriately.Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experiencePrimary Location: LATAM, MéxicoSchedule: Full-timeShift: DayJob Employee Status: RegularTravel: YesRelocation: NoOffice Location / Address: Mexico, LATAMLanguage skills : English 80%- **Job Family Group**:Technology- **Job Family**:Infrastructure- **Time Type**:Full time- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.View the "**EEO is the Law**" poster.
