**Goals**The purpose of this position is to perform independently Accounting tasks within given guidelines and procedures, while maintaining accuracy and accountability of information. The position holder carries out tasks in compliance with local legislation as well as Lufthansa internal standards.**Tasks****Your tasks as an Accountant LATAM in the Finance and Administration team will include**:- Ensure local accounting specifics and tax regulations (i.e. VAT, WHT and local taxes.) for the assigned Latin America country- Submit and ensure payment of obligatory tax declarations, keep local books where necessary and recover receivable tax refunds in due time- Coordinate local scanning and archiving of tax declarations and fiscal information according to local fiscal rules and internal guidelines- Provide all relevant information for the assigned country in case of internal, external or local authority tax audits- Provide country specific information to the GSDC relevant for posting and accurate accounting- Execution of Internal Control System instruments related to fiscal compliance- Participation in other duties as assigned or required**_**Requirements**:- 5+ Experience in Accounting and fiscal law required- ?Fluent English language, both written and spoken?
