**About the Role**We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Senior Finance Specialist** to join our team.**What You Will Do (Key Responsibility Areas)**- Review and validate vendor invoices to ensure compliance with VAT requirements.- Accurately process invoices, reconcile statements, and execute timely payment runs.- Maintain complete and accurate records of payable transactions in compliance with audit standards.- Manage vendor communications, resolve discrepancies, and follow up on pending documentation.- Handle reimbursements booking and assist employees with doubts related to their reimbursement process.- Provide support in preparing exogenous information and basic data reports for stakeholders (e.g., supplier/client balances, tax data, payment histories).- Temporarily support the implementation and configuration of the new accounting system, ensuring proper integration with current processes.- Support month-end closing processes, including accruals, journal entries (AP/AR transactions), and P&L review.- Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., as fixed assets, prepayments).- Prepare audit requirements and assist both internal and external audits.- Respond to ad hoc requests from the Finance Manager and broader Finance Team.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.- 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance ideally within the financial sector.- Experience with accounting systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms).- Solid knowledge and understanding of Mexican tax regulations, IFRS, and Mexican GAAP (NIF). within the financial sector.- Strong analytical skills; capable of managing complex datasets.- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.- Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.- Experience with accounting system implementations or migrations is a plus.**What we offer**- Competitive salary and benefits above the law- Opportunity to build up our business in Mexico.- An engaging work environment with a passionate and talented international team in a fast-growing sector.- Mission-oriented and intellectually stimulating projects and constant challenges for growth.- Flat management structure with significant exposure to senior leaders and decision-makers across the globe.- Attractive career path with potential for long-term advancement as we growth the operations and company.Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- 03810, Nápoles, CDMX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Application Question(s):- Please indicate your monthly gross salary expectations in MXN:Work Location: Hybrid remote in 03810, Nápoles, CDMX
