Cd Juarez, Chihuahua.**Sr. Engineer, Testing**The Test Engineer works closely with the cross-functional product development teams to facilitate product testing to internal and external performance/quality requirements for our products. The role of Test Engineers is to thoroughly check materials, procedures and mechanical or electrical systems to ensure that customers get high-quality, functional products. The Test Engineer, will use concepts and business objectives to participate in the design and execution of tests to ensure core products and new technologies meet demanding criteria and superior standards. In this role, you are responsible for understanding and interpreting test requirements as well as consulting with product teams to recommend performance and quality requirements.**Responsibilities/ Skills.**- Coordinates and performs tests at the quality control stage of the manufacturing process.- Gathers and studies information regarding materials and components to be used in production.- Drafts proposals for testing programs and operating procedures; outlines the specific testing conditions to be applied.- Responsible for understanding and interpreting test requirements, designing and executing test plans accordingly, researching and developing test methods, establishing test protocols and their associated work instructions, analyzing test results and data, making determinations of pass/fail criteria, and communicating results.- Tests new products; develops systems to gather digital data during testing. Meeting with the product design team to determine product testing parameters.- Studies the data gathered during testing and evaluates the validity of the results.- Identifies any problems with new products; makes adjustments or recommendations to resolve problems.- Continues testing and analysis until results are within product requirements and specifications.- Drafts detailed technical reports to present findings; based on findings, recommends modifications needed to correct production problems.- Develops ongoing quality control testing procedures to be incorporated into the regular production process.- Training the quality assurance staff and providing technical support when needed to the different departments- Performs tests directly and assigns testing to others (test technicians, associate test engineers, test interns), providing coaching and direction as necessary. Identifies areas for efficiency improvements within the team and in all aspects of their job and leads the implementation of these improvements.- Analyze test results, detect issues and track root causes- Build automated testing systems for regular checks- Document technical issues and solutions- Develop test environments and test cases for all mechanical and electrical systems- Inspect raw materials and machinery to identify defects and malfunctions- Ensure our products and procedures meet industry standards- Actively supports and champions Lean Transformation and continuous improvement initiatives- Performs other related duties as required.- Create and execute Design Validation Test (DVT) plans.- Support all of the organization’s product testing needs including (but not limited to): Fit and function compatibility, shock and drop, environmental exposure, water and dust ingress, mechanical cycling, material property testing- Comply with the environmental, safety and health requirements set forth in the legislation and regulations related to our activities and products, as well as those EHS requirements established by the community, our clients and others to which we are subscribed.**Profile.**- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.- Three or more years of Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.- Great troubleshooting skills.- Bilingual Spanish/English**Skills/ Knowledge requirements**:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss product flaws in a constructive and positive manner.- Excellent interpersonal skills.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss product flaws in a constructive and positive manner.- Excellent interpersonal skills.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and proposals.**Competencies**- Communication- Initiating Actions- Lead Team- Customer focus- Planning and organizing- Making decisions**Benefits.**- The position is a regular active, full time role with competitive total rewards.- Equal Opportunity Employer - Inclusive Company**How to apply.
