**Job Title: Sr Systems Administrator (Night Shift) / Hybrid****GENERAL DESCRIPTION (US COMPANY)**Responsible for monitoring and maintaining server functions in a heterogeneous server platform environment, covering global locations. Installs, maintains, and monitors operation of company systems and server service delivery. Collaboration with global systems engineering team to maintain global systems, storage, and network strategies. Coordinate with managed services as needed in support of responsibilities to maximize uptime and availability.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**Build, maintain, and support server infrastructure based on Windows OS in both on-prem datacenter and cloud based environments.Recommend and implement policies and standards to ensure consistent usage and security procedures.Provide IT staff training on operations and procedures as needed.Provide Tier II and III technical support for Service Desk reported problems.Provide Tier I escalation for technical support of server and storage systems.Perform system admin and management of midrange systems in a 7 x 24 data center.Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems and provide solutions.Implement and maintain security standards and policies and administer security rules.Provide system accounting reports for systems performance monitoring.Manage projects from installation, through implementation and project completion.**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking or Engineering or equivalent business and technical experience required.2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in Computer/Technology industry.3. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.4. Supplemental course work and evidence of continuous learning related to key disciplines associated with position, including SANS, MCP, or MCSE certifications.5. Demonstrated software and hardware troubleshooting skills and understanding of technical/web environments.6. Demonstrated knowledge of networking and server communications and connectivity.7. Working knowledge and certifications in MS Windows Server (on-prem and virtual), cloud server technologies, and Office 365.8. PowerShell or other scripting languages is a plus.9. Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.10. Strong presentation skills, including the ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that users can understand.11.
