Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Descripción y detalle de las actividades- Receive, unload and process incoming stock and materials, verifying purchase orders and verifying count and condition of items. - Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring that all items are properly packaged and labeled. - Maintain the stockroom, ensuring that materials are properly stored and organized, and that accurate inventory records are maintained. - Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues related to shipping and receiving. - Prepare reports on the status of materials and equipment in the stockroom, including stock levels, cycle counts, and discrepancies. - Conduct physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies with the inventory system. - Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records. - Assists with directing, mentoring, training, coaching, and motivating all shipping personnel. - Communicates daily and weekly performance metrics - Review of quality non-conformances received from the customer. - Communicates effectively with other departments (Quality, Customer Service, etc.) - Adheres to all safety requirements and enforces compliance. - Available to work overtime when required (sometimes on short notice), including weekends. - Communicates new or revised directives from management to shipping personnel. - Initiate and support the implementation of continuous improvement projects in the Shipping Department. - Responsible for establishing, implementing, and documenting the training program for shipping personnel. - Provides information to the Customer Service Department on issues involving shipments to customers and provide assessments on impacts on deliveries.Experiência y requisitos- 4+ years of experience in shipping and receiving area. - Knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory control procedures. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems. - Leadership experience preferred.**Número de vacantes** 1**Área** Materiales**Contrato** Permanente**Modalidad** Presencial**Turno** Diurno**Jornada** Tiempo Completo**Estudios** Carrera con título profesional**Disponibilidad p. viajar** No
