**OPEN POSITION****Offshore Project Lead Electrical Engineer**Mexico City, Full time- Responsible for ensuring a robust through life design of the offshore project’s electrical systems.- Responsible for specification and evaluation of electrical equipment.- Responsible for grid code compliance and interconnection requirements.- Provide engineering technical support for power system modelling and studies.- Support development of engineering processes and procedures.- Manage engineering contractors’ delivery of engineering studies, reports, analysis, and engineering documents- A strong focus on interface topics, for example in the substations between offshore platforms, interdisciplinary interfaces, control room, etc.- Develop the electrical design criteria and specifications related to HV/MV/LVSwitchgears, Power and Distribution transformers, Busducts, AC and DC UPS,VFDs, HV/LV Cables, PMS System, E-house Packages, Bulk Materials and other discipline packages.Qualification Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering.- 5+ years’ experience directly working on offshore energy (including power generation, transmission) projects.- Experience as an Offshore Lead Electrical Engineer or a similar role in the maritime or oil and gas industry.- Electrical system engineering: power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.- Strong writing and communication skills (Fluent in spoken and written English)Relevant professional experience- Experience in Offshore Oil and Gas, Offshore Wind, or other large engineering infrastructure projects.- Familiar with industry codes and standards applicable to offshore Oil and Gas projects. Knowledge of NOM, IEEE, IEC, NEC standards and guidelines.- Knowledge of Power system studies and modeling such as Load Flow, Short circuit, Motor starting, Harmonics, Arc flash and Transient stability study,Protection coordination and relay.- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and control systems in an offshore environment.- Familiarity with offshore safety regulations and practices for electrical systems.- A track record of successful electrical projects and upgrades in an offshore setting.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 al mesPrestaciones:- Opción a contrato indefinido- Seguro de gastos médicos- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro de vidaTipos de compensaciones:- Bono anualEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Obligatorio)Experiência:- Proyectos Offshore: 5 años (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
