Senior Accounting Director – Private Equity Real Estate Location: Mexico City, Mexico PER is a real estate investment platform focused on high-impact projects across Mexico and the US. The firm leads a 300‑hectare development in Todos Santos, BCS, projected over years. What the job involves Own the full accounting function for large-scale real estate projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR, financial reporting, and tax. Lead, mentor, and inspire the internal accounting team while coordinating closely with an external accounting firm to deliver top-quality results. Ensure strict compliance with Mexican accounting and tax regulations, managing filings and relationships with authorities. Partner with the CFO on budgeting, cash flow, and financial analysis to support strategic project decisions. Strengthen internal controls, streamline accounting procedures, and continuously improve processes. Support internal and external audits with timely, accurate documentation. Occasionally travel to project sites to oversee operations and maintain hands‑on control. Who we are looking for Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (CPA or equivalent highly valued). Extensive progressive accounting experience, including proven leadership in senior roles. Proven track record managing both internal accounting teams and external firms. Strong expertise in Mexican accounting standards and tax regulations. Hands‑on experience in real estate development, construction, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred. Excellent analytical, leadership, and business acumen skills to drive strategic financial decisions. Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with ERP systems.
