**Position Purpose**Manage the Global sourcing team, to maximize savings for the company. Responsible to build a sourcing strategy, to create a plan to execute, providing the overall direction to the group. Responsible for building a team and their development providing coaching and feedback. Responsible to create collaboration and alignment between global sourcing offices and functional areas. Manage Direct Import programs and identify, develop and execute Near Sourcing (Latin America) opportunities. Lead team to prepare and present solutions for categories with a profit benefit and /or quality improvement.**Primary Accountabilities**Lead Global Sourcing team to generate savings, increase vendors base and improve quality for all categories at the company. Lead team to achieve their goals and guide them to prioritize programs to meet expectations. Keep team updated of company strategies and direction. Coach, develop, retain and increase skills for Global Sourcing team members. Conduct annual performance review. Develop good environment at the team.Lead Sourcing planning process providing structure to the team creating strategic and detailed plan to maximize company profit and improve product quality. Guide team to identify, evaluate, develop, partner with merchandiser and functional areas to execute cost savings and quality improvement transitions. Adjust plans and activities to correct deficiencies and maximize opportunities. Gain merchandising directors alignment.Lead team to execute Near Sourcing process identifying sourcing opportunities with Latin America Vendors, for US and Mex Stores. Identify and develop manufacturers, negotiating proposals, manage and evaluate quotes, driving cost savings, diversify vendors base, presenting category solutions, improving quality and prepare vendors to execute smooth transitions.Lead team to execute Direct Import process identifying sourcing opportunities, manage request for proposals, evaluating quotes, driving cost savings, increasing vendors base, presenting category solutions, improving quality and executing smooth transitions. Get alignment for functional areas involved: Merchandising, Supply Chain, Compliance, International Trade, Legal, Marketing. Manage sourcing process and landed cost mode; to compare and execute programsTrack and present Global Sourcing results, initiatives, plan and strategies to Merchandising VP, Global Sourcing top management, Mexico and US Leadership. Develop executive presentations. Create action plan for results recovery to maximize savings opportunities."Partner with US and Asia sourcing Directors to align on companywide sourcing plan and process, connect on moving projects forward collaboratively.Partner with Merchandising Directors on tactics and strategy to meet savings plan. Lead team to administrate Pitt Crew savings for AZ Mexico Merchandising"**Education & Experience**Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study: Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management and / or EngineeringYears of Experience: More than seven years.Type of Experience: Experience Sourcing, Merchandising and/or Procurement and/or Automotive Parts Industry and/or AutozoneSpecial Certifications or Technical Skills: Excellent Spanish and English Verbal & Written Skills, Proficient Microsoft Office, Negotiation, Organization and Priorization, Project Management, Analytical and Leadership SkillsOther/Preferred:Portuguese and Mandarin Language Skills a plus; Negotiation Skills and Project Management.
