QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).- 5- 7 years of experience in software testing is preferred.- Experience designing and implementing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts.- Basic understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.- Proficient in manual testing techniques and methodologies.- Basic understanding of agile software development methodologies and practices.- Proficient in creating SQL queries for test validation.- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.- Good communication and collaboration abilities, with a team-oriented mindset.Desired Skills:- Some experience with automation testing, using tools such as Coded UI, Selenium, Microfocus UFT formerly Quick Test Professional, JMeter, Soap UI, and Postman.- Experience with Jira or similar Agile product management tools.- Experience with TestRail or other test case management systems.- Some software development experience.- Strong willingness to learn and grow in the field of software testing.Production Support/On-Call Duties:As a key member of our engineering team, you will address escalated production issues from customer support. Your responsibilities will include:- Participating in a rotational on-call schedule to handle significant production issues.- Rapidly diagnosing and resolving technical challenges that arise in production.- Collaborating with customer support and engineering teams for seamless issue resolution.- Maintaining clear communication and documentation during and after incidents.- Leveraging these experiences to contribute to continuous process improvement.
