Aspen AerogelQUALITY MANAGER**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:Successfully lead, implement, and maintain the successful certification of IATF16949.Develop, implement and ensure that the Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, regulatory/legal, and certifying organization requirements.Manage, lead and mentor the quality personnel.Maintain documentation and records of Quality department functions.Lead and support quality activities including PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Gage R&R, Supplier Qualification, Calibration systems and Corrective & Preventative Actions in our automotive assembly lines.Audit and track supplier quality performance.Oversee layered audit procedure and process.Prepare and present monthly technical, program and operational quality reports as needed.Record and track the measurement of key quality metrics indicative of performance.Manage the Quality department budget.Author and review relevant SOPs, validation and other documents.Effectively host client or certification agency audits and provide on time response to audit findings as well as facilitate completion of corrective actions noted.Perform employee training on QMS and ISO requirements.Mentor/train/develop and manage the Quality team.**QUALIFICATIONS**:Minimum 8 (8) years' experience in quality engineering and reliability roles in a manufacturing environment.Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, math, business, or science discipline is required, Master's Degree is preferred.Proficiency with statistical tools such as Minitab or JMPSix Sigma training and certification highly desirableStrong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015Experience in Tier 1 / 2 Automotive manufacturing strongly preferred.Ability and willingness to lead, manage and do work.
