Impact and Opportunity The Senior Quality Manager will represent Executive Management to ensure that the quality system complies with ISO/IATF 16949, maintain documented procedures for planning and implementing quality internal audits, and carry out coordination, communication activities and serve as the link between operative and administrative managements to ensure continuous improvement. The position involves implementing and updating the Quality System according to international standards and improving process, product, and quality assurance quality. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Obtain certification of recognition from national and international bodies, certifying as a reliable supplier of electronic and automotive products. Verify quality system effectiveness to ensure product and process quality. Design, coordinate, review and document internal quality audit program to evaluate the quality system. Coordinate and communicate to all operative and administrative managers preparation activities and Quality System documentation development. Form a group of Quality Internal Auditors. Analyze and coordinate all plant areas during the preparation phase and development of external certification audits and customer audits. Document corrective and preventive actions taken as a result of audits or customer claims. Maintain internal communication with quality personnel to ensure product conformity with customer specifications. Make technical decisions to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Oversee and maintain process control by means of product specification control. Maintain quality records to demonstrate product compliance with customer requirements. Develop, maintain and implement the highest quality standards in manufacturing to meet customer requirements. Develop and implement procedures of the Quality System IATF 16949. Coordinate and obtain documentation and necessary activities for PPAP approval. Minimum Qualifications 5-8 years experience in a Quality Management role. Wide experience in the Automotive Sector. Wide knowledge and experience in quality systems implementation within international standards. Knowledge of the Automotive Industry requirements. Knowledge of advanced statistical methods. Knowledge of experiments designs. Knowledge of problem solving techniques. Experience and knowledge of the specific requirements of the Automotive Industry Sector. Experience in Process Statistical Control (SPC). Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish). Literacy in computer packages.
