The Hardware Verification Engineer conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment.**Responsibilities include**:- Preparing specifications, evaluating vendors, and analyzing test reports.- Ensuring products conform to standards and specifications.- Developing plans and cost estimates and assessing projects to analyze risk.- Developing procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems.- Initiating, guiding, and coordinating overall design and development of new ideas and products.- Responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur.- Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.**Qualifications**Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.**Minimum Qualifications**:- 2+ year of experience in:- Board design process.- Industrial Computer Aided Design (CAD) toolset for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design such as Cadence, ORCAD, Proteus or similar.- Intermediate English level.**Preferred Qualifications**:- 2+ year of experience on Intel Server architectures.- 2+ year of experience in Signal Integrity Design.- 2+ year Field Programmable Gate-Array (FPGA) and Programmable Logic Design (PLD).**Inside this Business Group**The Data Platforms Engineering and Architecture (DPEA) Group invents, designs & builds the world's most critical computing platforms which fuel Intel's most important business and solve the world's most fundamental problems.
