Counsel Special Investigations

Develop strategies to mitigate corruption and other corporate compliance risks, and manage and effectively respond to requests for guidance and counseling- Advise on compliance policy development and emerging issues in law and corporate compliance, and manage anti-corruption compliance due diligence- Provide investigations, anti-corruption and corporate compliance training, manage and Support GM Global Ethics & compliance Center ("GECC") law-centric projects, and manage and effectively respond to requests for guidance made of the GECC- manage and Support a broad range of legal matters with specific focus on GM's Code of Conduct and compliance with anti-corruption laws- Conduct internal investigations and Provide legal advice in connection with alleged corruption, fraud and other alleged wrongdoing or misconduct. Provide legal counsel to GM Audit Services special investigations, Security investigations, and Cyber investigations and assist in development of remediation plans to address deficiencies and enhance internal controls.- Support the overall GM Global privacy strategy- assist in the execution and continuous improvement of GM's Global export compliance program, policies and procedures**Additional Job Description****Job Description**:**Position Overview**:Counsel - Special Investigations will perform investigations of alleged violations of law and/or GM policy (e.g., fraud, IP theft, embezzlement, conflicts of interest, collusion, kickbacks, bribery, FCPA violations and records falsification) or other projects at the request of management.
