**Job Posting Title**Maintenance Engineer - Controls**Job Description Summary**Provides mechanical and technical support for manufacturing equipment and technology.Monitors and resolves mechanical and equipment problems on the production line. Escalates in line with established guidelines.Provides technical support for new equipment installation. Performs maintenance and parts replacement.Coordinates with purchasing and vendors on acquisition and disposal of equipment.Logs and documents production problems. Identifies and reports potential problem areas.- Identifies maintenance and reliability problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results; investigating complaints and suggestions; interviewing process supervisors and operators.- Anticipates maintenance and reliability problems by studying operating targets, modes of operation, unit limitations; monitoring unit performance (FMEA).- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; immediately addressing issues and alerting others regarding potential concerns.- Provides maintenance management information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating and engineering data and trends.- Contributes to engineering and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.- Wanted to add a reliability statement for new equipment as an additional bullet... did we ever receive such a statement from the SMEs?- All other duties as assigned.**Required Skills and Education****Descripción General**:Responsable de diseñar, desarrollar, implementar y mantener sistemas de control automatizados que aseguren la eficiencia, seguridad y calidad en los procesos de manufactura. Su función es clave para la integración de tecnologías de automatización industrial en la línea de producción.**Descripción Específica**:- Diseñar y programar sistemas de control para maquinaria industrial (PLC, HMI, SCADA).- Supervisar la instalación, prueba y puesta en marcha de equipos de automatización.- Diagnosticar y corregir fallas en sistemas de control y comunicación.- Optimizar procesos mediante la implementación de nuevas soluciones tecnológicas.- Coordinar con los equipos de mantenimiento, ingeniería de procesos y producción.- Asegurar el cumplimiento de estándares de seguridad, calidad y normativas industriales.- Documentar y mantener actualizados los esquemas eléctricos, manuales y programas.- Proponer mejoras continuas que aumenten la productividad y reduzcan el downtime.**About AAM**:
