Come be a part of this journey****BAT MEXICO IS LOOKING FOR A DATA ENGINEER ANALYST****SENIORITY LEVEL**:Non management**FUNCTION**: DBS - Technology Solutions**LOCATION**:Monterrey**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**- Implements data ingestion pipelines from multiple data sources- Participate in the development of scalable, self-service frameworks for data ingestion, processing- Will develop end to end data pipelines to take data from data source to target data repositories ensuring the quality and consistency of data- Participate in the reviews of design, code, data, features implementation performed by other data engineers in support of maintaining data engineering standards- Support and maintain data pipeline/ETL architecture- Help documenting and building standard processes in the following areas: Design & Analysis, Automation, Testing, Monitoring, Documentation- Tests, integrates, and maintains technology services - including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.- Supports the issue resolution with cross functional teams and vendors.- Serves as a productive project team member delivering high quality results for assigned tasks.- Assists the project manager by ensuring delivery timelines for assigned tasks**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer information systems or related business experience- Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on working experience - in related topics- Experience with SQL / Python programming- Knowledge/ Experience with extract, transform, load (ETL) pipelines on large data sets- Basic Knowledge of Cloud Data Warehousing technologies- Ability to quickly understand data structures/requirements- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Experience with reporting tools and data sources.- Extensive experience with data engineering tools, languages, frameworks to mine, cleanse and explore data.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English- Experience with requirements gathering and implementation**BENEFICIAL**- **Expertise and experience with software development and related techniques and methodologies such Agile**:- ** Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Teradata, Snowflake, etc.)**:- ** Python / PySpark proficiency/experience**:- ** Experience in Big Data and non-Big Data cloud-based enterprise solutions in PySpark, SQL and related frameworks/libraries**:- ** Experience developing and implementing Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) frameworks**:- ** Proficient in Airflow, Git, Jenkins, Spark, Databricks**:- ** Experience with Databricks work in large environment**:- ** Experience with cloud data warehouse in large environment**:- ** Databricks & AWS Data Analytics Certifications****WE ARE BAT**At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
