Customs Compliance Supervisor

**Description**:This role will primarily support the company's Customs initiatives with a focus on the Annex 24 inventory control system for our Mexico manufacturing facilities.**Key Responsibilities**:- Overseeing the automated inventory control system under the IMMEX program- Ensuring accurate reconciliation of foreign trade operations, validating customs documentation, leading customs audit defense efforts, and collaborating with internal teams such as Legal, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Finance, Materials, IT, and Production to mitigate trade risks and ensure full regulatory compliance.- Administer and supervise the inventory control system in accordance with Annex 24.- Lead and support Annex 30 reconstruction projects, ensuring accurate reconciliation of inventory balances and compliance with customs regulations.- Coordinate reconciliation between physical and virtual inventories.- Ensure proper integration of customs declarations (pedimentos), invoices, production orders, and consumption records.- Validate correct tariff classification and compliance with non-tariff regulations and restrictions (RRNA).- Coordinate internal and external audits related to foreign trade.- Manage monthly and annual reports submitted to the tax authority (SAT).- Train the team on topics related to Annex 24, Annex 30, and customs regulations.- Collaborate with departments such as materials, logistics, production, IT, and Finance to ensure data integrity.- Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor and/or manager**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.- 3 years of experience managing Annex 24 and participating in Annex 30 reconstruction projects.- Deep knowledge of Mexican Customs Law, General Rules of Foreign Trade, and SAT regulations.- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Annex 24 platforms.- Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.Specific language requirements- Intermediate-Advanced English**About Align Technology**:**Your growth and well-being**:At Align, every smile matters.
