About the role As a Senior Manager, Commodity Management & Sourcing (Professional Services), you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier performance across key categories including HR, EHS, Engineering, Legal Services, and Marketing. Your leadership will empower cross‑functional teams, drive operational excellence, and deliver measurable business impact. This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing high‑performing teams and shaping sourcing strategies that support Carrier’s global success. Key Responsibilities Providing strategic leadership and oversight for assigned commodities to maximize business value Leading and mentoring cross‑functional sourcing teams to achieve operational and financial goals Conducting operational and spend analysis, and executing annual sourcing strategies Driving supplier negotiations, performance management, and operational support Awarding contracts within spending limits and identifying new qualified sources of supply Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve strategies Analyzing supplier operations to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance Developing strategic plans for commodities or key suppliers Managing relationships with one or more strategic accounts within assigned commodities Leading the sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature Ensuring supplier performance meets delivery, quality, and cost expectations Requirements We are looking for people who are strategic, analytical, and collaborative leaders.
