TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.**What your background should look like**:**Position Summary**:Training involves the identification of training needs, scheduling, monitor, validate effectiveness and keep records of technical and leadership training, also participates as an internal instructor supporting the activities of the department oriented to the metrics achievement, quality certifications and systems compliance and policies of TE Connectivity.**General Activities**:- Detect training and development needs in the different positions of the organization.- Creation and development of job descriptions at all levels of the organization.- Development of annual training and development plans.- Training and development through standardized work for operational and administrative processes.- Monitoring of processes and changes in standardized work.- Attention to internal requirements regarding succession planning.- Certifications and recertification of employees in on-the-job training.- Development of agreements with educational institutions.- Creation of didactic and support material for skills development.- Responsible for training Standardization of the Americas distribution centers. Aligning efforts to the strategic agenda and specific DC needs, impacting direct, indirect, and salary associates.- Main goals consider the definition of a training and development road map for the Americas DCs to achieve 5SL rating, drive associate engagement, enabling a low turnover rate, as well as to be the catalyst to quickly adapt to market changes.- Monitoring of external and internal training.- Follow-up of corporate training compliance.- Creation of industrial vehicle licenses.- Onboarding for new employees.- Responsible for providing support in the diverse or daily activities of the Operations and Human Resources department.- Coordination with Safety, Quality and Operations departments for process updates and creation of training matrices and scheduling.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor and/or Engineering degree.- 2 Years of experience in high volume distribution centers or logistics industry.- SAP and S4Hanna experience preferred.- Location: Hermosillo, Sonora.- Type: On-Site.- Travel: 10%-25%**Competencies**:- Managing and Measuring Work- Motivating Others- Building Effective Teams- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation- SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
