**Description**We’re looking for a freelance **IT Helpdesk / IT Support Specialist** to support a small remote team. We use a mixed-OS environment (**macOS, Windows, Linux**) and several cloud tools (**Google Workspace, Box, Jira**). Your role will be to handle day-to-day support needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure users can work smoothly.This is an **as-needed hourly contract**, not a fixed-hours position.**Key ResponsibilitiesUser Support (Level 1-2)**- Troubleshoot issues on **macOS, Windows (7-11), and Linux**:- Drivers, updates, profiles, permissions- Office apps, browsers, printers- Networking issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS)- Support and administer:- **Google Workspace** (accounts, delivery issues, Drive permissions, MFA)- **Box** (permissions, sync errors, collaboration)- **Jira** (access issues, permissions)- New user setup: configure laptops, apps, accounts, and required security settings.- Support legacy/internal tools when needed.**Systems & Administration**- Manage users and permissions in:- Google Admin Console- Box Admin- Jira / Atlassian Access- Perform software installs, updates, and basic patching.- Maintain documentation for common issues and processes.**Required Skills**:- Strong experience supporting **macOS**, **Windows**, and **Linux** workstations.- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics — ability to solve issues logically.- Experience with **Google Workspace**, **Box**, **Jira**.- Networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, VPN).- Excellent communication and customer support skills.- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tickets.**Nice to Have (Preferred but not required)**- **Windows Server** (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, file shares).- **Virtualization** (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, VirtualBox).- **Legacy ERP systems** such as **Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics GP)**.- Shell or PowerShell scripting.- Basic hardware diagnostics.- Google Workspace Admin / Microsoft / CompTIA certifications.**Engagement & Budget**- **Freelance / hourly contract**.- Hours will vary depending on support needs (no guaranteed weekly minimum).- **Rate range: MXN $150-300/hr**, depending on experience.- Must be responsive during overlapping hours with **Hermosillo,** **Mexico / Los Angeles (US Pacific)** time zones.**To Apply**Please include:- A short summary of your experience with macOS, Windows, Linux.- Examples of issues you typically resolve.- Your hourly rate and availability.**Job Type**: Part-timePay: $150.00 - $300.00 per hourExpected hours: 1 - 40 per week**Language**:- English (required)- Spanish (required)Work Location: Remote
