Oracle Application Developer

We are seeking a talented individual to join our oracle applications development team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in México City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This position is for an Oracle Application Developer with at least 5 years of experience, who will work on the development and support of the company's financial solutions, including Payables, Receivables and General Ledger.We will count on you to: Translate Business Requirements into application codeDocument the technical application specificationsPerform code reviews and align the solutions to architectural specificationsWork with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business-impacting projects & enhancements.Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.Support deployments during hyper care, troubleshoot production issues if needed / be available for on-call as neededMaintain current knowledge of relevant best practices and business processesParticipate in and conduct peer code and deliverable reviewsWhat you need to have: At least 5 years of experience in IT as a software developerKnowledge in Oracle Application Financial Modules Payables, Receivables, General Ledger and iExpenses & iProcurementExcellent knowledge in PL/SQL and Unix Shell ScriptExperience in developing and customizing Oracle XML Publisher ReportsAbility to work on CEMLI (RICE)SCM tools - GitHub, JIRASecure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practicesExperience in various project methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Waterfall, RUP, Scrum and Agile) What makes you stand out?Excellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to multi task and liaise with multiple stakeholdersExcellent Problem solving skills with innovative and proactive approachAbility to identify process improvement opportunitiesAdaptability to changeKnowledge of Oracle Workflow, Business Events, WebADI and Oracle Application Framework.
