Ensure product quality by meeting customer requirements and identifying design deviations and risks.Manages the definition, design, development and integration of test teams for product design validation in all development phases.Provides technical guidance/mentoring to the project and other engineers.Generate test strategies, test environments and execution methods for projects and documenting them.Create test environments to reproduce complex issues.Create test specification automation strategies.Analyze and select suitable HW/SW equipment for new projects to test.Be a mentor to the team members and the testing department.Promote new solutions in the testing area and document them so that they can be used in different projects.Lead initiatives considering their viability.Support in quotes for new projects and purchase of specialized testing equipment.Being active support in technical interviews for personnel selection.Analyze tool flows/processes for reporting issues and propose improvements.Formally train new engineers, not necessarily from the same team.Be conducted under methodologies, standards, systems and models.Master one or several technologies and maintain communication with different disciplines, locations or business units.Communicate in a structured manner as required by level (managers, customers, engineers).Be responsible for negotiating issues related to the project and the testing area.Fulfill the role of project leader, for medium or large projects if required.Participate in internal reviews of the test department and the ones from the projects.Comply with the guidelines, policies and/or processes applicable to the Company's Environment, Safety, Health and Energy Management.Participate in risk analysis.
