**City**:JUAREZ**State**:**Country**:United States**Business Area**:Production**Department**:Operations, Juárez**Employment Type**:Full-time**A global job position with an impact**The Manufacturing Technician supports engineering activities by executing hands-on tasks during new product introductions (NPI), testing, process validations, production pilots, equipment installations, and stabilization of manufacturing processes. This role bridges the gap between engineering and production by ensuring seamless integration of new products and equipment into manufacturing and driving process efficiency.**Responsibilities and Essential Functions**:- Support the Manufacturing Engineer in the validation and implementation of new productsand processes to reduce launch time.- Execute engineering testing such as: Gauge R&R (GR&R), Sample Validations (SVs), TestMethods, and Criticality studies.- Conduct walkthroughs, product evaluations, and inspections as required.- Interpret and utilize engineering documents such as schematics, BOMs, visual workinstructions, and debug/testing procedures.- Operate and maintain manufacturing and testing equipment during evaluations andvalidations.- Provide on-the-job training and clear instructions to production associates during processimplementation or changes.- Collaborate with engineering to provide feedback on design improvements andmanufacturability.- Assist in gathering and documenting data for Engineering Studies, Validation Protocols, andCompletion Reports.- Support troubleshooting activities for production equipment, quality issues, or productnon-conformities.- Measure and monitor cycle times and process performance; identify opportunities to reducewaste, downtime, and inefficiencies.- Participate in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement activities (Kaizen, 5S,Standard Work, etc.).- Propose and implement solutions to improve productivity, ergonomics, or overall equipmenteffectiveness (OEE).- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to yield, throughput, and processstability.- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards (Company, Federal,State, and Local).- **Qualifications / Education**:- Associate's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or equivalenttechnical discipline.- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical support role, preferably in theMedical device or other regulated industry.- Experience with GR&R, SVs, protocol execution, and engineering studies (preferred).- Familiarity with Lean tools and efficiency improvement practices (preferred).- Shift availability**Work Environment**:This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration, or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.**How to Apply**:About AmbuAmbu has been bringing the solutions of the future to life since 1937.
