Strategic Sourcing Manager

**Job description**:The Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead and drive efforts to achieve cost competitiveness through sourcing initiatives and negotiations related to the Supply Chain of the company; this through the administration of specific categories of commodities and value creation strategies aligned with the specific company Divisions and the overall Corporate Global Purchasing strategy.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Leads and administrates sourcing decisions related to a portfolio of commodities; this from Spend Analysis to Contract Management in the sourcing cycle.- Conceptualizes and develops strategies for the related portfolio of commodities with a Global scope based on company’s footprint.- Performs Make Vs. Buy assessments on specific key products to determine the best strategy for the Business Group or Companywide.- Develops RFI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s for consolidated sourcing projects related to cost reduction initiatives.- Works as the central point of contact to address Quality and Delivery issues with existing and new suppliers related to the portfolio of commodities.- Calculates total landed costs for new materials, components and services and evaluates the best solution to be considered on cost estimation practices for new business opportunities.**Requirements**:- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.- Effective communication skills - verbal/written.- Knowledge of INCOTERMS and various international purchasing and trade requirements.- Proficiency with ERP systems is expected, familiarity with Microsoft based ERP systems is preferable.- Familiarity with Business Intelligence integration with ERP systems is preferable (i.e. Power BI, BusinessObjects, Tableau, etc).- Ability to organize, coordinate and direct team activities.**Minimum Qualifications**:Education/Experience/Training Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field. At least 5 years of international Sourcing experience.Experience must include international supply development, customs relations, compliance management, tariff classification and managing broker relationships. CPM and/or membership in APICS is a plus.Advanced English.
