This position plays a critical role in supporting business decisions by collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring Primary Fuels industry trends, and providing actionable recommendations. This position entails leading the Budget, Business Plan, Best Estimate forecasts, consolidation, and preparation of monthly reports (volume, surplus, OCF, DSO DPO, other operational metrics) and weekly reports. Additionally, it involves conducting in-depth market intelligence research, managing trade flows, and pricing data, and preparing comprehensive market analysis reports, presentations, and studies for upper management.**Main Responsibilities**:- Develop mid- and long-term Business Plan, annual Primary Fuels Budget, and updates of Best Estimate forecasts.- Production of weekly and monthly management reports such as consolidation of monthly volumes, costs, prices, surplus report, DSO DPO report, and other relevant reports- Conduct thorough market intelligence research to gather insights, and stay abreast of industry trends, and create specialized reports for the team.- Measure and analyze potential risks in the Primary Fuels sector, evaluate and monitor the costs of primary fuels, and support development of new business opportunities within CEMEX or through CEMEX Trading.- Inform, monitor, and adjust primary fuels supply strategy and costs accordingly.- Ensure Compliance with CEMEX Policies, Procedures, and Internal Control.- Collaborate and communicate with Central Planning and Treasury teams to align monthly and weekly reports.- Deliver presentations on the current energy market situation for Investor Relations Quarterly call, Executive Committee meetings, Energy Risk Committee meetings, and other upper management reports.- Lead communications with other CEMEX areas outside of Primary Fuels including Central & Regional Planning, Treasury, ERM, Energy, Operations & Technology, Sustainability, CEMEX Countries, fostering effective collaboration**Position Challenges**:- Conduct relevant market intelligence and provide valuable information to CEMEX Trading team and other CEMEX areas.- Establish rapport and maintain open communications with other CEMEX areas.- Prepare insightful presentations for upper management on specialized energy-related topics.**Qualifications**:- **TEMPORARY POSITION**:- Bachelor’s degree in administration, Energy Administration, International trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields- At least one year experience in data analytics, supply chain and/or finance- Desired areas of expertise:- Fuels - Energy market- Finance, Treasury and/or Planning roles.- Market research, analysis, and studies.- Supply chain planning- Tech savvy, proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; knowledgeable with Tableau, Power Pivot, Power Query and Think-cell.- Strong business acumen and ability to work effectively in a team, transforming data into valuable insights, displaying strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to influence and persuade**Internal/External Relations**:INTERNAL- Corporate, Regional and Country Planning- Treasury- GES- Investor Relations- Energy- Legal- Sustainability- Operations & TechnologyEXTERNAL- Suppliers- Consultants**CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion Statement**:At Cemex, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and in which we do business.
