The Transportation Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the movement of goods for TL, bulk liquid and drayage, ensuring timely delivery while optimizing costs and efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including drivers, carriers, and internal teams.**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE**- Interpret information related to each shipment; gather additional information as needed.- Determine optimal equipment for each shipment in relation to cost minimization and service requirements.- Execute shipment tendering process.- Negotiate spot prices with service providers.- Monitor daily each shipment in relation to required pickup and delivery date/time.- Identify and resolve exceptions as they arise.- Proactively communicate information to other departments and customers as needed.- Support Transportation Team administrative functions as needed.- Analyze weekly/monthly metrics resulting in proactive corrective actions to improve team KPIs.- Create and/or participate in annual continuous improvement projects related to Transport activities.**Section 2 - CANDIDATE PROFILE****EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations or Business related field- 1+ years of experience in Transportation and Distribution- Strong proficiency in English - oral and written.**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL OR FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES**- Familiarity with Transportation Management System (TMS)- Proficient in MS Office- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices**LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES & PERSONAL STYLE**- Proven ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast paced environment- Proven ability to process information for making judgments on incomplete & ambiguous information.- Proven ability to overcome obstacles and deliver results. Excellent ability in the following areas: Communication Skills (Oral & Written), Interpersonal Skills, Analytical Skills and Organizational Skills- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions independently.Work Location: In person
