This position is ideal for someone with a strategic mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for driving financial excellence in a startup setting. You will be instrumental in financial planning, analysis, and enhancing operational efficiency, supporting the company’s growth initiatives.- Key Responsibilities_:- **Financial Planning**: Develop, maintain, and improve financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Work closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely financial information flow.- **Financial Analysis**: Conduct thorough financial analyses to evaluate the company’s financial health. Prepare reports and dashboards highlighting financial trends and performance indicators for senior management and investors.- **Performance Measurement**: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge operational and financial efficiency. Report on actual vs. planned performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.- **Cost Analysis**: Lead cost-benefit analyses for business initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements.- **Presentation**: Craft and deliver compelling financial presentations to stakeholders, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.- Requirements_:- Approximately 5 years of experience in corporate finance, preference with advisory or consulting backgrounds.- Proven track record in a startup or entrepreneurial setting, demonstrating flexibility and innovation.- Expertise in financial modeling and analysis.- Strong knowledge of budgeting, monitoring, and financial control practices.- Familiarity with Mexican taxation laws and regulations.
