**1. Logistics Strategy and Planning**:- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with the company's operational and financial objectives.- Plan and optimize supply chain workflows, ensuring timely delivery of materials and products.- Establish and maintain cost-effective transportation and distribution systems.**2. Inventory and Warehouse Management**:- Manage inventory levels to meet production needs while minimizing carrying costs.- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient space utilization and accurate stock control.- Implement inventory tracking systems and perform regular audits to maintain accuracy.**3. Supply Chain Coordination**:- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.- Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams to align logistics activities with production schedules.- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs and service quality.**4. Team Leadership**:- Lead, motivate, and develop the logistics team to achieve operational excellence.- Set individual and team performance objectives and provide regular feedback.- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.**5. Compliance and Quality Assurance**:- Ensure compliance with automotive industry regulations, including safety, environmental, and quality standards.- Maintain and update certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) related to logistics operations.- Monitor and address logistics quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.**6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting**:- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and inventory accuracy.- Generate detailed reports for senior management, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.- Develop and execute plans to address identified inefficiencies or challenges.**Qualifications**:**Education**:- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.- A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.**Experience**:- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the automotive industry.- Proven track record of managing complex supply chain and logistics operations.**Technical Knowledge**:- Strong understanding of automotive supply chain processes, including JIT (Just-In-Time) and JIS (Just-In-Sequence) delivery.- Proficiency with logistics and supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.**Skills**:- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSueldo: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 al mesTipo de jornada:- Turno de 8 horasEscolaridad:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- Sector Automotriz: 5 años (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
