Visteon is where the best technical talent creates the future.**About Visteon****Regional Manager - Supplier Quality - Global Quality****Job purpose**:- Manage Supplier Development and Improvement through Implementation of Quality processes with supply base from APQP to Concern Resolution and Continuous Improvement methodologies- Participate in developing and support the Global Procurement & Supplier Quality strategies in identification, development, and qualification of new suppliers, and improvement/development of existing supply base**Job Key results areas**:- Ensure Visteon Suppliers contribute to a successful customer Launch by managing Supplier Pre-Launch disciplines and methodologies through to industrialization- Ensure Visteon Suppliers continuously improve their performance in Internal and External Indicators, including but not limited to FTT, Scrap Rate, OEE, QR count, PSW on-time, Delivery Rating- Manage and develop personnel capabilities of Supplier Quality Engineers- Develop local expertise (technical/non-technical) in support of supplier needs- Reporting to Management levels; support data input for reviews on both supplier launch performance as well as current model issues- Support Commodity Strategy and Sourcing Committee process- Manage “A” (and “B”) supplier quality issues and Improvement plans (TPP, SIDP) since pre-launch and industrialization through the life of the program- Manage V-SIP procedure implementation, tracking and report-out- Assure cross-region and cross-Category consistency in Procedures and Processes used by SQE personnel and Plants- Assure support to Reportcard for suppliers and Visteon Plants- Manage department budget in headcount, travel, administrative expenses**More Good Reasons to Work for Visteon****Focusing on the Future**Our company’s engineering platforms deliver scalable hardware and software solutions that enable the digital, electric and autonomous evolution of our global automotive customers.
