Join us.**Description**As a Manufacturing Engineer, incumbent will be the primary contact and support person for ACM Mexico Facility, supporting demand planning and forecasting activities. Incumbent will be actively engaged with the Operations, Supply Chain Managers, Material Planning and Supplier to achieve superior service. These areas focus primarily on Demand Management, Service, Cost Analysis and Strategic Inventory Stocking Decisions. Additionally, incumbent will be part of multiple teams that focus on Supply Chain and process improvements.**Job Duties**Primary focus on inventory management (IM) oriented duties, driving improvements to service and inventory by optimizing Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP), fixed requirement processes and other Production processes.Perform work to achieve supply chain performance targets focused on Service, On Time Ship, and Inventory TurnsSupport internal process partners in areas of root causes to schedule variability, backorders and past due.Collect, analyze and present data in monthly Demand ReviewsCreate, execute and maintain on-going weekly and monthly reportsParticipate in all projects and meetings to support improvements in Backorders, Past Due Schedules and ExpeditingMust be comfortable presenting material in front of audiences in person as well as through Teams**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineer- Previous experience in Logistics Analyst or Supply Chain Planning Analyst or Demand & Order Analyst or Material Requirements Planning- Understanding of Industrial Engineering Principles- Warehouse or Operations management experience within the manufacturing facility environment- Knowledge of Supply Chain System (eg, ERP, MRP, Etc,)- Advanced English**Additional Information**- The duration for assignment is 15 months**Final **details****All qualified individuals - Including minorities, women, and individuals with disabilities - are encouraged to apply.**Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
