Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Tijuana, BCReporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager the Equipment Maintenance Engineer responsibilities include ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment and machinery through planning and implementing maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, repairs, developing technicians, creating instructions and procedures to standardize work, and implementing equipment improvements, all with a focus on KPIs.Management of fully automatic and precision equipment with robotic arms, vison systems, packaging machines, laser equipment, label printers, etc.What a typical day looks like:- Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism and implement containment and corrective actions to avoid recurrency.- Responsible for equipment installation validations IQ (creation of Protocols, PM, EM, execution and reports)- Maintenance cost monitoring and const reduction project implementation- Ensure the execution of preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.- Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.- Create troubleshooting guides- Provides daily equipment functioning activity information and KPIs tracking- Assign work to the maintenance technicians to ensure optimal team performance- Immediately detect equipment failures.- Detect equipment obsolescence, propose, and implement replacements to maintain business continuity- Keep managers informed of the status of the KOIs- Organize teams or single-person teams to ensure 24-hour coverage availability.- Work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vision systems, robots, PLCs, chillers, etc.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics or similar.- Experience as an Equipment Maintenance Engineer in the Medical Industry- Advanced English.- Strong knowledge of validation documentation- Personnel management- Availability of schedule- Leadership- Experience with automated equipment technologies, robots, and vision systems.- SolidWorks proficiency is a plus.- Staff Administration- Proactive- Teamwork- Effective communication.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary- Life & Medical insurance- Christmas Bonus- Food Coupons- Saving Fund.- Life InsuranceAU51Job CategoryOperations**Required Skills**:Optional Skills:
