Job Title: Resource ControllerOverview: Resource Controllers work closely with BY Solution Managers, Team Managers, Solution VP, Practice Leads, Project Managers, Client/Delivery Partners and other Resource Controllers amongst Professional Services organization to ensure all IT projects currently delivered by BY to its clients are suitably staffed and the consulting teams are appropriately trained and booked for all future implementation projects. Resource Controllers determine what skill profiles are required to successfully deliver each project (number of consultants needed on each project phase, specific skills needed, mobility required, etc.), and then allocate these associates by working with both internal partners and external suppliers (e. g. managers of BY consulting departments, system integrators, and companies providing IT contractors).Role-based Tasks- Collaborates with Solution or Team Managers, other Resource Controllers, Practice Leads, Delivery Partners, and Project Managers to define current and future resource requirements.- Maintains up-to-date knowledge base of existing resources, skill levels, and certifications.- Identifies and matches appropriate resources to project needs.- Aligns with appropriate management staff to ensure appropriate level of training is achieved to fulfil customer requirements.- Works with other project members to ensure customer satisfaction with resource allocation.- Ensures resources allocation and billing are consistent with the contractual agreements.- Coordinates with the consulting directors and AC department development and recommendation for training initiatives that address short- and long-term skill gaps within the team.- Produces management reports to track resource and revenue performance.Role-based Skills- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role- Excellent communication skills combined with a lot of interpersonal initiative.- At least intermediate knowledge about IT Consulting roles and Software implementation processes (typically gained in IT project management, IT project management support/administration, or Software-focused contracting/recruitment)- Self-driven, well organized- Ability to work with multiple levels within the organization.- Capable to work under pressure, able to manage stressful situations.- Drive escalations for solution, balance expectations- Business-level fluency in English, both spoken and written.- Advanced analytical and data management skills and experience, including at least intermediate skills in MS Excel.#LI-RemoteOur ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
