Vendor Master Data Steward

Have you imagined all the work done before a patient can take his treatment?- Your Key Responsibilities:- Establishes strong working relationships with in-country business, Procurement and FRA contacts and performs individual research to identify accurate and complete supplier data for all third party suppliers- Performs supplier data cleansing activities across different geographies- Contacts Suppliers to check the validity of the supplier records and enriches the existing Vendor Master Data with the information provided directly by suppliers or acquired through the external sources- Performs the configuration and activation of defined suppliers in Novartis finance and procurement systems with appropriate master data attributes in place- Interacts with SIM Support, SLP Implementation Team and Procurement Preferred Supplier Analysts- Supports the delivery of service levels against KPI targets and communicates results to senior leaders- Support in the development of the knowledge management process including user manuals, knowledge bases, FAQs, results reporting, etc.- Possesses a good knowledge of the system and master data environment and supports the data cleansing exercise through the provision of timely, accurate Vendor Data Records**Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion**:- Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve._**Minimum requirements**- University degree - business administration/finance/computer science- Language: English (written and spoken) 2nd language a plus- Experience in similar position in a Shared Service Center environment: 5+ years- Good technical competence in SAP, especially in P2P and Vendor Master Data Management (experience with- Ariba S2P suite and specifically SLP is a plus)- Demonstrable expertise in large scale data management roles- Good communication skills and analytical proficiencies- Sophisticated data manipulation skills including integration of data from external sources- Customer service orientation, professional demeanor, reliableYou'll receive:A total compensation package that includes a competitive salary, performance bonus, learning platforms, pension plan, major medical expenses, flexible working environment, global employee recognition scheme, flexible benefits, parental leave, collaborative and empowered culture, development opportunities and so much more.Why consider Novartis?766 million lives were touched by Novartis medicines in 2021, and while we’re proud of this, we know there is so much more we could do to help improve and extend people’s lives.We believe new insights, perspectives and ground-breaking solutions can be found at the intersection of medical science and digital innovation.
