Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced **Senior Data Analyst** to design, develop, and maintain datasets and reporting tools in support of critical business functions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across accounting, insurance, and operational workflows.**Responsibilities**- Build data pipelines to create and maintain assets integral to accounting workflows, such as cash reconciliation to accounting ledgers and financial reporting for reinsurance partners- Design and execute pipeline adjustments to source system data to correct values and support system programming bug fixes- Collaborate with teams to manage exception reporting for cross-functional workflows, including workflows with Operations and Accounting- Develop data health and process control reports to ensure data integrity- Report on key business operational metrics and KPI performance for Accounting and act as a liaison for downstream corporate processes- Partner with cross-functional teams, including ESL Office IT and downstream data teams, on reconciliation, integration, and data flow alignment- Migrate key datasets from SQL environments to data lakes- Transition current SSRS reporting infrastructure to Power BI platforms- Assist teams in producing data for analysis across business functions such as Pricing Actuarial, Reserving Actuarial, FP&A, and year-end Accounting audits- Support regulatory and statutory reporting, internal audits, and A&H Line of Business management steering- Help migrate existing TA reporting functions to a centralized data lake**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science- Minimum 3 years experience with SQL, Visual Studio, UC4, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS (Microsoft Azure framework)- Minimum 2-3 years experience with Python, PySpark, and Microsoft Power BI- Background in insurance and reinsurance concepts combined with foundational knowledge of accounting principles- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and flexibility to deliver results under high-pressure reporting with strict deadlines- Proficiency in effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical team members- Capability to work independently, collaboratively within small teams, and interface across departments**Nice to have**- Background in Insurance Finance to enhance reporting culture- Skills in Python for advanced data analytics**We offer**- Career plan and real growth opportunities- Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions- International Mobility Plan within 25 countries- Constant training, mentoring, online corporate courses, eLearning and more- English classes with a certified teacher- Support for employee’s initiatives (Algorithms club, toastmasters, agile club and more)- Enjoyable working environment (Gaming room, napping area, amenities, events, sport teams and more)- Flexible work schedule and dress code- Collaborate in a multicultural environment and share best practices from around the globe- Hired directly by EPAM & 100% under payroll- Law benefits (IMSS, INFONAVIT, 25% vacation bonus)- Major medical expenses insurance: Life, Major medical expenses with dental & visual coverage (for the employee and direct family members)- 13 % employee savings fund, capped to the law limit- Grocery coupons- 30 days December bonus- Employee Stock Purchase Plan- 12 vacations days plus 4 floating days- Official Mexican holidays, plus 5 extra holidays (Maundry Thursday and Friday, November 2nd, December 24th & 31st)- Monthly non-taxable amount for the electricity and internet billsEPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
