**Position Summary**:Provide information that accurately reflects the company's financial situation in a timely manner to facilitate decision-making, compliance with obligations, and management of the company's resources.**Job Status**:- Full-Time- Salaried- Reports to: Controller- Location: Mexicali, Baja California**Role Responsibilities**:- Provide accurate and timely financial information and expense analysis to managers and other end users.- Coordinate the month-end closing process with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and other operations personnel.- Prepare journal entries and departmental allocations; record in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.- Perform account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.- Ensure accurate financial disclosures and reporting to management and external users.- Review and authorize daily banking transactions and accounts payable.- Identify and resolve issues with AP, AR, Inventory, etc.- Provide financial information and reports to external auditors during the annual financial audit.- Prepare information and schedules for tax calculations.- Review and explain current variances vs. budget.- Coordinate and support the annual budgeting process for assigned companies as needed.- Provide support for various ad hoc projects and financial analysis.- Participate in physical inventories at the end of the fiscal year.- Support the tax department with information in the event of requests for VAT and income tax.- Submit INEGI and RNIE questionnaires.- Participate in projects with Management to improve processes.**Education**:- Public Accountant or Business Administrator.- Preferably with a specialization in finance.**Experience / Skills / Abilities**:- English 70%- 3 years in a similar position- Analytical skills and understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.- Experienced with Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel.- Familiar with electronic accounting systems, preferably JD Edwards Enterprise One.- Accuracy and attention to detail.- Problem-solving, conflict management, and decision-making skills.- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team.- Tenacity and willingness to investigate and resolve discrepancies.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Stress management and multitasking abilities.**Job Expectations / Working Conditions**:- Travel requirement: Occasionally- Office work, 8 hours at a desk in front of a computer
